She holds two Master Coach certifications—one from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara and the other from the International Coach Federation (ICF). In 2017, she will complete requirements for her diploma in Coaching Supervision from the Coaching Supervision Academy in London. A true expert, she gets to meaningful results faster. She has helped develop leaders in organizations such as REI, Costco, Seattle Lighthouse for the Blind, Puget Sound Energy, GE Healthcare, and Apple.

As a dedicated ally and confidant for her clients, Sherryl is known for her direct, honest feedback; deep insightfulness; and a genuine care for her clients’ well-being. She lives on Whidbey Island in Washington’s Puget Sound.

  • Certification to administer and interpret the EQ in Action Profile (a profile of emotional intelligence) through Learning in Action, 2006.
  • Certified Master Consultant of knowledge transfer workshops by the talent risk management experts, The Steve Trautman Co., 2000 – present.
  • Coaching Certification through the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, 2003.
  • Executive Coaching with Backbone & Heart through Leadership Institute of Seattle, 2002.
  • Management Black Belt training through Eastman Kodak, 2002.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) through ASQC (American Society for Quality Control), 1995.
  • Certification Facilitator of Leadership Training courses for Blessing White, 1989.
  • Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling through the University of Arizona.
  • BA in Social Work/Spanish (minors in Math and Political Science/Pre-Law) through the University of Arizona.

Sherryl is a resident Whidbey Island, WA, in the Puget Sound, where she lives with her grandson, dog, chickens and parakeet. She is actively involved in the community as:

  • Vice-President of the Clinton Community Council, 2013 – present
  • Chairperson/CEO of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, 2008 – 2011
  • Facilitator/coach/curriculum development partner for Leadership Eastside, 2005 – ongoing
  • Chairperson/Facilitator for the Advisory Board of the Hometown Hero Book Project, 2006 – 2009.
  • Sherryl enjoys traveling and her not-frequent-enough visits with her daughter and son-in-law in London.
  • She loves the outdoors, especially gardening, kayaking, sea fishing, hiking...and hopefully, in the near future, completing hours for her private pilot’s license.
