Sue Sheldon MCC

Sue is a compassionate and energetic coach, consultant and facilitator who thrives on championing people to be the best they can be. Her background in sales and marketing allows her to assist clients in aligning their objectives with strategic business goals. Since she began her own consulting company in 1991, she has held an on-going commitment to understanding her client’s needs in unison with accountability for the implementation and measurement of the results.

Since 1997, coaching has been an integral part of Sue’s practice. Sue works in partnership with her clients to help people get clear on their values, reconnect with their purpose in life, put together a plan that is in alignment with their values and then get into action to create the results they want. Sue’s business mission is to unleash the capacity of individuals to optimize their performance and achieve their personal best.

Sue brought her skills as a coach and leader to her role on the faculty of Adler International Learning as a leader of the certificate program and part of the supervisory team for the Practicum process. She now brings those skills to FLOW Coaching Institute where she is the director of learning and development.

Sue also facilitates the Positive Change – Leader as Coach 2 day program in a public form and in-house for clients. In 2004, Sue was a part of a team of coaches at the LCBO who received special recognition through the Prism award which celebrates excellence and business achievement through coaching.

As part of her ongoing commitment to life-long learning, Sue received certification from the Consulting Psychologists Press to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Her focus of application for this tool is within the business environment to assist individuals in the effective management of differences and the impact on their working relationships. Successful completion of the Co-active Space yearlong Leadership program has helped Sue gain clarity on her impact as a leader.

Since completing her professional coaching training from the Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, California, Sue has acquired the designation of Master Certified Coach (MCC) from the International Coach Federation. As a member of the Toronto chapter of the International Coach Federation, Sue has played a leadership role in the design and delivery of monthly program events, special events and bi-annual retreats.

Since Sue began her business in 1991, many clients have benefited from her consulting services and over 12 years of offering coaching services and coach training in Canada, US, England, France and Turkey. Because she is passionate about coaching, its benefits and the impact that coaching skills have on the workplace, Sue’s practice continues to grow as she works with entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs to find balance between social and fiscal responsibility, with the ultimate goal of humanizing the workplace.
